Patient TestimonialsColin Richman is truly one of a kind.He is truly professional, a most pleasant bedside manner and even followed up the evening of my oral surgery to make sure everything was fine. I will recommend him with flying colors! I'm not exactly crazy about dental visits, but Maggie (I think that's her name) is great; friendly, professional and great at her job. Free Wi-Fi, and a Kuerig machine in the waiting room are a plus as well. They all did an awesome jobNow that I am ending my orthodontics, I am ready to review the incredible work of Dr Colin Richman and Dr James Gray and their staffs. I previously used a dental appliance to assist with sleep apnea, but it had the affect of messing up my bite so that only my front teeth would actually hit each other when I bite down. My dentist said I would destroy my mouth if I did not get it fixed, so of course, I put it off as long as I could after doing several other steps to help with my sleep apnea. Finally, last year I was ready to go, but not looking forward to having braces for the second time at age 53. I was advised that I could speed up the process and enable Dr Gray, the Orthodontist, the ability to do a better job if I had a particular pre-braces surgery procedure with Dr Richman. Well, I went for it and was told I would end up with braces for about a year, give or take a couple months. I can not say having surgery and braces was a pleasurable thing but both doctors and their staffs made it as bearable as it could be, and it I am now out of braces and being fitted for my retainer after just short of 10 1/2 months. They all did an awesome job and now my bite is fixed so I can keep my teeth! Neal C. Murphy DDS, MS, Clinical ProfessorDr Colin Richman is an academic and clinical fellow whom I have grown to admire as an esteemed colleague. His work is far advanced and frankly superior in its scientific basis to the prevailing customary care. In other words, his work and knowledge may not comport to the local average "standard of care". True, but "average" is just another word for "mediocre". Dr Richman's practices are indeed so SUPERIOR to the existing standard of care that in 25 years all dentists will be using his methods. It usually takes about 20-50 years for the common practice to incorporate scholastic excellence. Yet a few intrepid clinicians, read their journals faithfully and are always there to lead progressive thought. It is gratifying as an academic to see emerging biological science so productively and safely applied to the American healthcare system by Dr. Richman. |
